What place in the world do you never want to visit? Why?
There is no place in the world I don’t want to visit. I may be naive but I want to travel to as many places as I can learning about different places and cultures and trying to help people along the way.
That being said I know there are places that are not currently safe for me to visit as a natural born female, non binary, American in the LGBTQ+ community and having developmental disabilities and mental health issues makes that even harder for me to do right now (especially if I were to go solo).
Describe a positive thing a family member has done for you.
While not all of my family is safe to talk to, there are many members of my family both in my biological and adoptive families who have done so many good things for me.
One thing that sticks out the most is how my biological and adoptive moms are each there for me in different ways.
My birth mom wasn’t always able to be there for me, but now she is always supportive and wanting me to be happy no matter what.
My adoptive mom has been there for me always in my corner since I first came to her home at 15. She was the main one of my 2 adoptive parents to make the decision to adopt me, and she is the only one of the 2 that didn’t abandon me when my family split up and my mental health got worse.
She is always there to support me too, but she also isn’t afraid to call me out when I’m being self-destructive, making unhealthy choices, or standing iny own way of success.
Both moms are also still there for me loving me when we have arguments, disagreements, or set-backs unlike my dads. Even though I don’t have love or support from my dads having 2 cool moms really eases the pain.
